Use of power banks

Thank you for staying at Candeo Hotels.

In recent years, incidents of smoke and fire caused by power banks have been reported both in Japan and overseas.
To ensure the safety and comfort of all guests, we kindly ask for your cooperation with the following:

・ Do not charge power banks when leaving your room unattended.
・Charge only in places where you can monitor the power banks at all times.
・Please avoid charging in the following locations:
- Near windows exposed to direct sunlight
- On beds, sheets, curtains, or other flammable materials
・Do not use power banks that are damaged, swollen, emitting an odor, overheating, or have suffered strong impact. Such items may be refused entry into the hotel.

During housekeeping, if any of the above situations are found, staff may move the powerbank or stop charging for safety reasons.

Please note:
If a fire or accident occurs due to a power bank brought into the hotel, the guest responsible will be required to compensate for damages.
